Who can be seen? L.A. Care Medi-Cal covers acupuncture for persistent chronic pain, such as low-back pain, neck and shoulder pain, knee pain and sciatica.

How many visits? Typically up to 2 visits per month. Additional visits may be approved with prior authorization. We will check your eligibility before your first visit.

What to bring: your L.A. Care member ID card and a photo ID.
